Dave was ecstatic about the solar eclipse. He had been waiting it's arrival for months! We were actually planning on going down to Kannaraville, Utah to see the perfect alignment and the "ring of fire." We didn't make it down there because of many things going on so Dave set up his "equipment" in his parents' yard. The whole night and even through dinner, you would catch him checking through the telescope and then hear him shouting for others to check it out. He gets so excited about these things and wants everyone else to experience it. Sadly, the clouds got in the way of seeing a major difference, but we did notice a change of darkness when it was covering the sun as much as it could.
