Bachelorette Fun

One of my best friends is getting remarried to an amazing man next week so we took her out to celebrate yesterday. We started out the party by getting pedicures. I haven't had one since my toe nails were damaged and fell off last summer so it was so nice! After the pedis, we went to Smoky Mountain for dinner and it was delicious as always! We had a lot of fun too! I love seeing friends and talking with them. I'm so excited for Britt to get married next week!

Master Dave

Thanks for the name Chris! Friday, we forced Dave to walk for his graduation to receive his MBA from Weber State. I think he secretly enjoyed it though. He was able to be hooded by a favorite professor of his and hear us root him on using his infamous phrase, "Wahoo." It was a fun experience. I'm glad they did the commencements in colleges because there were still a lot of people graduating in the college so it could have been really long! I am filled with pride for my hubby! He deserves every accomplishment he has received and this adds one more to his list!

We had lunch at Rickenbackers at the Ogden Airport. It is a new favorite! Our other favorite place to eat up here is just downstairs in the same building. We love finding new places to eat that aren't the norm, but with our luck something happens to our little joints we like so much, so we're spreading the word about these places. We highly recommend both Rickenbackers and Doolittles! Both have great food, great prices and great service. You couldn't ask for anything more!

Friday night, we had a party at our house with friends and family. It was a lot of fun and highly entertaining! I made shredded beef and chicken for tacos and had all the fixings. They were a hit! The weather was beautiful so we got to enjoy our backyard and porch. And we even got to see grown men in diapers. Thanks to all that supported Dave and even me!

Easter Weekend

We were in St. George for Easter weekend. It was a fun weekend, as always. Michael joined us late Friday night and he provided the pictures this time around, but we couldn't pass up Dave and Michael's head-dresses made from shirts during tennis. Dave did it to protect his neck from the sun and Michael followed because he loved how Dave looked like someone from the Old Testament.

The boys are hard to see but if you can click on the picture to enlarge, I would highly recommend it!
This was at dinner after tennis Saturday. Michael had a little fun with his phone.
