This Is the Place....

We made it back to the promise land!(he he) We arrived to our bed at 6 a.m. Friday morning. We wanted to get home so bad that we used every ounce of power in our beings to stay awake and drive all the way home. It was such a relief, after many head bobs might I add, to see the Salt Lake Valley coming out of Parley's Canyon! We had a great last few days in St. Louis. My family flew in on Monday. We went up to Carthage and Nauvoo, gave my parents a good tour of St. Louis including the Arch of course and finishing with a Card's game. We took off Thursday morning and left them to fend for themselves for the day at with zoo and such. I have tons of picks but not a whole lot of time. We're trying to get settled while fitting family time in before school on Monday so I will post more about our week and pics in the next couple of days! Wahoo for Utah!!!!

More LOST Than Ever!

Well this week we've hit a big milestone! We finished the fourth season of Lost and are all caught up with the majorly intense series of Lost and we are now awaiting the last final season to begin. We started, I think, the beginning of June and finished Wednesday night. I can't believe how many late nights we have spent out here in Missouri trying to fit in just one more episode. After each episode I learned not to look at Dave because I knew what those lips were going to say, "Another?!?" You could say we became obsessed but Dave's mind wasn't on anything else when he got back home from a long day. This was the routine: Dave walks in the door (well, sometimes I would have to unlock it for him to enter), Dave goes straight to the bedroom to get out of his work close and into his "comfy" clothes, Dave enters the front room again and goes straight to the computer to set up the nest episode of Lost while I finish up the last of dinner prep, then I serve up dinner and bring it on over to our nice set up of our computers and then there it begins. Yes Jon, we are just as lost as you now. Morgan I know you're proud!

This is to give you an idea of our set up but we have another (bigger) monitor that we watched every single episode of Lost on.

No worries, we have even better news!!! In one week from today we will be-drum roll please-duh, duh, duh, duh.... HOME! Home sweet home! Oh Utah, how we've missed you so! he he. I don't think I can express to you all how happy we will be to be surrounded by those great Wasatch Mountains. No, really we've had a good time out here but we've worked hard and are ready to be home:) See all you friends and family soon!!!!

Time Flies...

Wow! I can't believe how fast time flies. It blows my mind. I swear just yesterday Dave and I met and the day before that I entered Utah State as a freshmen and the day before that my brother Michael was standing next to me looking into the mirror and he was shorter than me, yes shorter! and the day before that I was running around my neighborhood in bare feet, dodging water balloons and hoses. But no none of those things happened a day or two ago. Dave and I have been married for 14 great months. We've almost completed our first summer in summer sales (which I think is a big accomplishment, I don't know bout any of you). And in just 4 short months, Dave and I will be graduating from college. You heard me, COLLEGE! That means I will be licensed to teach little munchkins-EEH, that is scary but at the same time-Wahoo!!

The older ya get the faster time goes, has become a strong belief of mine over the last couple of years. I once thought it was due to more responsibilities and so on but I don't think I believe that anymore. Some say time flies when you're having fun. And I am having fun, more than I deserve, but common life isn't always full of lollipops and gum drops (he he). Maybe someone else has a better rationale... Well today Dave's youngest brother Michael entered the MTC in Provo (again we apologize for not being there in person but we love you Elder Price and you are always in our hearts), he will be heading to the Edmonton Canada mission. Only 24...short months Michael! Honestly, I don't doubt that the time will just whoosh by us in a flash. Then there is Elder Michael Nasella (my brother) who has been serving the great people of Porto Alegre, Brazil for 8 whole months! Oh man, where did the time go???
