Most of the facial features look like Dave but the nose is definitely Nasella

He loves his hands

I love when I get to burp him and I feel his soft, smooth cheeks rub mine

When he is up in a burping position, he loves to tuck his legs up and snuggle 

For some reason laying on the changing table and starring at or out (not sure which one he is doing) the window, after being upset, soothes him

I was right, he is a very active boy (mouth, feet, arms, head)

He's already beginning to fight sleep, argh!

 He has a calm way about him

We are worried his personality takes a bit after my brother, Michael. We will have to continue to practice our patience!

With all of the trials we have faced in just his 27 days of life, we truly love him and feel so blessed to be his parents.

Baby Showers

I am very blessed to have wonderful people in my life! I was given so many wonderful baby showers and gifts. I am in deep gratitude and feel so very loved it has made me tear up quite a bit. My close friends Alli, Brittney and Kara took me out for dinner and gave me a little mini shower in the summer when we could all get together since Kara and Brittney live out of state. I love them dearly! Dave's family also gave me a shower in September but the pictures are not available at the moment.

End of Summer Fun

Almost two months late but I do want to document this year of our lives whenever I can! It's been a crazy one, but full of some good times.

One of my last weekends of my summer break, I made Dave take us to an over-nighter in Park City. It turned out to be a good time and relaxing even with it being one night. We ate at a pizza joint for dinner, relaxed in the hotel room, ate a big breakfast the next morning and hit up the farmers market, 7-Eleven for a slurpie and the olympic park to watch some skiers take plunges into the pool.

Labor Day weekend was spent in sunny and humid (yes humid!) St. George with our good friends, Allie and Jake Schneiter. We had an enjoyable time! We got to see our friends, Clar, Tracy and Taft Jenkins, and 4-wheel as well as shoot a couple rounds. It was my first time shooting a gun and even having it near me was a bit eerie. I've been wanting Dave to get one for us but honestly, they freak me out a bit!
