Lava Hot Springs

Bridget, Ryan, Dave and I all had work off a few fridays ago so we decided to take advantage and enjoy a weekend up at Lava. It was my first time. We camped right on the river, too. It was a lot of fun. We spent one day in the pools, including hot pools which we only lasted for about 30 minutes cause it was such a hot day, and another day on the river.

Our hobo dinners- aka tin-foil dinners, turned out a little over done. It was funny because all of us teamed up against Dave when he wanted to take them out earlier and agreed that they always take forever. Well Dave was right, they should of been taken out a lot earlier, thus we all had very dry and burnt hobo dinners.

Roasting Starburst. YUM!

The river rides mostly consisted of Bridget and I driving the boys to the top and watching them at different points coming down, then meeting them at the bottom to take them back up.
Ouch!
I was able to go down once.
